Job Description
Now offering $1,000 sign on bonus. Dispensing nurse is responsible for providing patient care through the dispensing of medication prescribed by Physicians, NP's, and PA's. The dispensing nurse will assist in the entering orders or adjusting orders as necessary under the guide of the medical director/on site provider. The dispensing nurse will also be responsible for ensuring program compliance with TB testing.
Position Responsibilities:
· Dispense medication to patients on a daily basis
· Maintain an accurate count of medication in the daily dispensing log
· Assist with entering patient orders into the computer system
· Maintain up to date personal license, which are necessary to practice
· Attend staff meetings as necessary
· Perform any other duties assigned as it related to the positions
