Kaiser Transport is a pioneering open-deck Transportation Company that specializes in the movement of machines, equipment, and commodities. We have a full-time opening for a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher performs supporting duties in dispatch, sales, and transportation yard. This is a challenging position that can lead to leadership positions within the logistics industry. This position reports directly to our Dispatch Manager.
Key Job Responsibilities
Learn Dispatch and Sales Operations
Application of supply chain management skills
Develop, maintain, and create relationships with clients
Networking and prospecting for new business
Continuous communication with internal and external customers
Utilization of integrated logistics programs and software
Key Job Qualifications:
Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and focused on continual learning and improved performance.
Must have impeccable verbal and written communications skills.
Must have strong understanding of basic math.
Must be able to multi-task, be software literate and proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced, open-office, and high call volume environment.
Must be able to pass a post-offer physical which includes a hearing and color vision test.
Must be resilient in stressful situations.
TMW TruckMate experience is a plus.
Military Service a plus.
Hours: Primarily Mon-Fri with some weekends, up to 50 hours per week based on business need. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with opportunity for growth in an aggressive Company.
