Part Time and Weekend Respites Direct Support Professionals Needed

Local Nonprofit is in search of DSP's to fill various positions working with persons with Intellectual Disabilities as noted below. These positions are working with no more than 2 people at a time and we will work with you on a schedule that meets your needs. All homes are located in Nashville TN between Antioch and Hermitage areas of town.

Part Time Positions: Weekend Shifts can be 8 or 12 hour shifts. We have all shifts open on Sundays, as well as need for 2nd and 3rd shifts on Saturdays. Starting pay set at $13.00 per hour for those willing to commit to needed shifts and certain number of consistent weekend days per month. For homes where you would work with 2 people at once starting pay is $14.50 per hour. We have some shifts Monday – Friday on 1st or 2nd shifts as well.

Weekend Respites: Unique position where you provide relief to employees who live in persons supported home. Respites are a 24 hour period in which you would remain onsite at a home and are able to sleep when person supported sleeps and still get paid. Pay for a 24 hour respite would start at $280. Shifts usually run from a Friday at 3 to 5 PM start times to Saturday at 3 to 5 PM end times and Saturdays into Sundays with similar start and end times. So those working two 24 hour periods a weekend would make $560 per weekend. Again, able to sleep overnights onsite. And we do not require an every weekend commitment for these positions.

The above part time positions could possibly be designed to include weekday shifts to make you full time benefit eligible, if desired.

We require DSP's wear masks and provide them if needed. We provide various disinfecting and sanitizing products for the homes. We also limit traffic in and out of the homes and the office.
