Azure/Intune – Desktop Support

Unifi is looking for a Sr. Desktop Engineer with strong cloud experience using Microsoft Intune for creating packages. deploying images, managing endpoints, updating software’s, and creating device policies using Microsoft Intune. You must have experience solid working experience with Azure Active Directory, PowerShell, Intune, and Autopilot. Must be proficient in device configuration with Intune, provisioning and testing new devices. The right person must be proactive, take initiative, communicate, and work independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage desktop build, packaging all applications, managing desktop group policies, implementing, and managing INTUNE for managing and deploying software, managing desktop security environments, and providing 3rd level support.
• Design and implement Unified endpoint management solution for windows and mobile devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MDM, Intune, Autopilot).
• Work with Microsoft Intune/Autopilot environment including device enrolment, implementing, and configuring auto provisioning scenarios, configuring profiles, managing device access and compliance, application management, managing security etc.
• Implement solutions to build and maintain virtual desktops in Azure
• Upgrade Windows operating systems through Intune on all endpoints
• Develop or enhance architecture specifications and solutions using Intune to improve user experience, simplify device management as well as deployment of windows, security, and third-party updates in timely manner to all devices globally
• Ensure software are updated on a timely manner on all endpoints
• Define and manage endpoint profiles throughout the enterprise from design to deployment and steady state

Qualification

• 7+ years’ experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting devices in a large enterprise environment
• 5+ experience in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, MDM, and Intune technologies
• 5+ experience in building, deploying and troubleshooting deployment packages using Microsoft Intune
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, application, and operating system deployment issues
• Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems and peripherals
• Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITIL based tool.
• Strong experience in IT support work, handling tickets and communication with end users
• Experience documenting, troubleshooting, and recording resolution steps along with root cause analysis
• Good understanding of network security, cloud-based infrastructure, and related infrastructure technologies
• Experience conducting and maintaining hardware asset inventory
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Flexibility to work in 24x7 support window.

Additional Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
• Proven work experience with Azure or IT admin
• Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
