WRJ is seeking a Design Sample Librarian to complement its current team. We are looking for an individual with excellent administrative and organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep the materials library neat and tidy at all times.
• Contact vendors to maintain updated pricing, contacts and availability of materials.
• Keep the materials library up-to-date by parsing and eliminating discontinued samples.
• Contact vendors to verify material samples in fabric schemes are available prior to presentations.
• Maintain the digital system for managing hard & soft materials.
• Meet with vendors in order to present new fabrics/samples in weekly designer workshops.
• Send unwanted materials back to vendors.
• Input new vendors info into predetermined categories.
• Schedule vendor presentations with design department.
• Assist team leaders to schedule weekly designer workshops.
• Maintain new/existing vendor logins in our system.
• Attend all vendor presentations to ensure that all designer-selected samples are ordered/received.
• Ensure that all samples are returned to the library after project close-out.
• Assist design teams to setup client presentations.
• Order duplicate samples for material library after client presentations.
• Order bins, trays, hangers, etc... as needed for the library.
• At designer's request, order new material samples from vendors.
• Create a hospitality section of the materials library.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma preferred
• Highly organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Attention to detail
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time, hourly position. Compensation commensurate with experience.
