The Responsibilities of a Dental Receptionist Include:
- Greeting patients as they arrive and answering the phones.
- Scheduling and cancelling patient appointments.
- Dental Charting and Treatment Planning.
- Completing and filing insurance forms and dental billing records.
- Translating dental services into proper billable codes.
- Managing office inventory and supplies.
- Communicating with dental supply vendors.
- Office duties including document filing, scanning, and creation Potential candidates must:
* Have excellent phone and in-person communication skills
* Have a great attitude and be team orientated
* Have excellent patient relationship management skills
* Be required to handle scheduling
* Insurance billing, claims management, collections experience and familiarity with Dentrix a plus.
* Must love working with children
* Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
* Be able to complete tasks in a timely manner
* Be able to take constructive criticism
This position and the pay rate will be tailored to the candidates skill set, experience and fit.
