Dealer Relations Specialist

Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 year

Join our growing team at etrailer.com, the leading online retailer of trailer, towing, and RV accessories in the US! etrailer.com has a new role as a Dealer Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for helping to grow our dealer accounts and maintaining relationships with our current dealers. If a dealer needs help, you are the first person they reach out to for help because you built the relationship and their trust.

This is a Full-Time position with benefits located in Wentzville, Missouri. The Dealer Relations Specialist requires strong interpersonal, data analysis, and project management skills.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Grow and maintain a deep understanding of and familiarity with our dealers and product lines including hands-on product experience and collaboration with teammates
  • Call on new dealer leads or internal list to reactivate old dealers
  • Guide dealers and process dealers' orders
  • Expedite the resolution of dealer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Provide onsite support for external dealer team members
  • Communicate effectively with teams about dealer needs, issues, and interests

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter and quick learner who is adept at relationship building and who enjoys applying critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills - able to efficiently manage workload and reprioritize tasks and projects as needed
  • Moderate level of skill in Microsoft Excel required
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with dealers and other team members
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Industry experience is not required but is a plus
  • Having the ability to deescalate difficult conversations
