MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHI RJ) is the largest MRO provider for the CRJ Series fleet in North America, developed from the merging of two important heritages: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program from Bombardier. What we do…in a nutshell

We partner with regional airlines (our customers) to provide safe and reliable aircraft services, which in turn allow our customers to connect people to their destinations. MHI RJ provides comprehensive operational, engineering and customer support solutions including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing, and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. MHI RJ's network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S., Canada, and Germany. Exciting, isn't it?

What you'll be doing…at the core

In conjunction with Supervisor, oversee and/or perform daily activities for an assigned functional area of MHIRJ Aviation.

• Coordinate workload requirements with Supervisors
• Conduct Team Meetings with Supervisor
• Oversee employee activities and document as required
• Communicate aircraft discrepancies with Supervisors and employees
• Provide technical guidance/expertise in functional area; train employees
• Mentor and provide performance feedback
• Provide input on disciplinary actions, performance management programs and selection process
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities
• Coordinate workflow with Supervisor
• Provide in-put on accident investigation and associated paperwork
• Monitor/ensure accurate data collection on employees in assigned work area
• Monitor routine task cards and N/R budgets
• Estimate man-hours and prepare time estimates
• Complete/approve all paperwork prior to turnover to QC/QA for final release

• Minimum of two (2) years practical aircraft maintenance experience
• Possess an A&P license OR possess the “A” license
• Thorough knowledge in functional area as evidenced through previous experience and skill
• Plan and organize tasks; prioritize, assign and coordinate work
• Advanced knowledge of inspection/ maintenance procedures in functional area
• Advanced knowledge of pertinent reference materials
• Ability to work shift unsupervised within prescribed framework of authority
• Engine run and taxi qualification may be required
• Fuel farm qualification may be required
• Enjoy working on commercial aircraft, growing professionally and being part of a team passionate about CRJs.
• You have basic PC (computer) skills…you've got this, you made it this far!
