Position Description

Advertised Job Summary
* This position is located in Greenville, SC *
Under general supervision, serves as an academic liaison that will support School of Medicine Greenville (SOMG) and Accountable Communities (Prisma Health). Identifies opportunities for student research and physician engagement in community health projects that address population health interventions, health disparities, and strategies to improve access to care and supportive services for underserved patients receiving care at Prisma Health facilities through established programs (e.g., AccessHealth, Mobile Clinics, Healthy Start, Mobile Integrated Health, PASOs, SDOH screening, etc.). Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree and 1 year related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated translational research capabilities and experience. Supervisory experience (e.g., interns). Prior experience in community health/community engagement. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with a particular experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Interpersonal skills to work with the faculty investigators, community leaders, collaborative agency partners, and Prisma Health colleagues. Ability to develop/continue and build upon existing partnerships. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to organize complex tasks on a tight time schedule. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with experience in Excel and PowerPoint. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
