Full Job Description

Commerical Roofing- Project Manager

Responsible for the oversight of multiple commercial roofing projects. Working with roofing foreman, truck drivers, and suppliers to safely and effectively load and replace roofs on large industrial buildings, public facilities and high rises. Responsible for ensuring work is done in the most efficient means possible and according to manufactures and designers specifications. Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing practices is a must. Multiple years of experience as a roofing foreman required.

Summary of responsibilities

Site logistics

· Location of equipment, dumpster, facilities, trash shoot and material storage.

· Safety set up (coordination with our safety director).

· Roof sequencing (start and stop points)

Equipment

· Rentals, tear-off, adhesive machines, hoists, generators, facilities, dumpsters, and hand tools.

· Verify foreman knows how to operate and care for equipment.

· Communicate & replace equipment that does not perform.

Crew management

· Crew size and composition.

· Start time, work hours, and overtime (coordinate with PM).

· Knockoff days.

Installation

· Monitor crew’s adherence to project specification.

· Track SQs complete per crew day and project percent complete.

· Verify crew’s adherence to customer requests or site regulations.

· Take weekly project photos and upload to job folder.

Deliveries

· Prepare for deliveries from distributers & manufacturers.

· Coordinate loads with customer, PM and warehouse.

· Manage frequency and quantity of deliveries from warehouse.

Demobilization

· Coordinate the offloading of equipment, trash and material.

· Removal of dumpsters, rentals and facilities.

· Ensure job site is clean and scope of work complete.

· Schedule final inspection / ensure punch list is complete

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Irving, TX 75039: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Project management: 3 years (Required)
• Commercial Roofing: 3 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
