CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant OR PCA Job at Abba Health Services
Home care agency has an urgent need for a CNA to care for a client in Atlanta/Buckhead area
This position is Monday - Friday, 5 hours each day with every other weekend off
The CNA or PCA will work 1-on-1 with 2 different clients inside their homes (Mon-Wed with one client, Thurs-Fri with another), and help them with activities of daily living such as :
Bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, eliminating, transferring and ambulating.
Provide medication reminders to patients
Provide companionship and basic care to patients. Accompany to appointments.
Assist with laundry and maintain a clean and healthy environment (meal prep, light housekeeping, etc). May be required to run errands for clients.
Experienced with client care required
Clear communication with supervisors and nurses regarding client conditions and issues.
Idea candidate must be dependable, honest, empathetic, patient, polite, respectful, have strong work ethics and pay attention to details.
Must have reliable transporation and available to start immediately.
Georgia CNA license preferred. PCA considered
CPR and TB test required
