We are currently seeking a full time Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will be technically competent, flexible, client-focused and capable of performing a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing civil and environmental engineering firm.

The work will entail working as a team member and independently on a variety of civil and environmental projects. Most work can be done remotely, but some travel may be needed to travel to sites in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, so our ideal candidate will be located and have their PE in one of those locations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• BS degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) Required
• 10+ Years experience
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D Suite, Hydroflow, MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat
• Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Management design
• Working knowledge of the regulatory permit approval process including but not limited to wetlands, streams is desired
• Site/civil construction plans and related construction specifications preparation
• Design work and site construction plan review
• Ability to attend Virginia Stormwater and Erosion and Sediment Control Classes and pass certification examinations.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Note: Applicant must have and maintain a driving record acceptable to EEC and its insurance carrier(s).
