SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING THE WORK LOCATION OF THIS POSITION - Currently, all staff at WestEd are working from home until further notice. Once we return to offices, this position will be based in one of WestEd’s offices. Candidates can submit a request to work from home.

Job Overview:

WestEd is seeking to hire classroom assessors to work in the SF Bay Area or Orange County Area administering a one on one web-based math assessment to pre-k to grade 3 students. The assessment covers each of the key domains of early childhood numeracy. The electronic format provides testing in an engaging, game-based context in less than 20 minutes and ensures an easy and accurate assessment. This position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable assessment skills working with elementary school children. Training on the assessment instruments will be provided; certifications of the assessment will occur. Successful applicants will be paid for all training, as well as for time conducting assessments and associated research activities. Travel time will also be paid. This is a temporary position with opportunity for work through 2022. #LI-Remote

Successful applicants can expect to work, on average, between 15-20 hours per week during the time period that assessments are being conducted. Ideally, candidates will be available to conduct assessments.

Compensation is $25 / hour.
