Certified Medication Aide (Monday - Friday 2nd Shift) Job at Abernethy Laurels
This position requires that you be vaccinated against Covid-19
Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
The Medication Aide provides medication administration for residents in assigned area in a timely manner following all policies and procedures of the Medication Administration guidelines and under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with physician’s orders, company and industry standards and federal and state regulations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A. Minimal Education:
1. High School graduate or G.E.D.
B. Minimal Experience:
1. Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants preferred.
C. Other Qualifications:
1. Successfully completed the state approved training program including competency evaluation and facility orientation program.
2. Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification with no allegations of abuse or neglect and current in required in-services.
3. Minimum age of 18 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations.
