Healthcare Realty (NYSE:HR), a real estate investment trust, is recruiting for a Capital Analyst in a hybrid role, ideally located in Nashville, TN, Scottsdale, AZ or Charleston, SC. The position will provide analysis and reporting on capital expenditures and redevelopment/development projects, involved in the capital forecasting process, and assist in the continued buildout of metrics and other tools to review performance of capital projects. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for continuous improvement, self-starter, and is able to work as part of a dynamic team in an evolving environment.

Job Duties

• Prepare recurring capital expenditures and redevelopment/development reporting and analysis
• High level of participation in the capital forecasting process
• Analyze performance of capital projects as investments and provide ROI and other key drivers of return for internal stakeholders
• Prepare metrics to identify capital opportunities
• Support process improvements, including creation of standard and ad hoc reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in an FP&A or Accounting position is preferred
• General understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”)Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities
• Power BI experience is a plus but is not required
• Excellent deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively summarize and present results of analysis/research
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Team player; willingness to help department meet goals and responsibilities
• Ability to work with individuals of varying levels of responsibility
