Business Analyst - (onsite), Harrisburg Job at HIGHER INFORMATION GROUP
Higher Information Group is seeking to hire an onsite IT Business Analyst to closely with existing IT Managed Services management to cultivate existing and new IT sales solutions around an existing product stack. The analyst must have a strong technical knowledge and experience to serve as a “trusted advisor” to our clients and Account Sales Reps. Responsibilities will include recommending IT solutions and managed services from our existing product stack that help clients improve operational efficiency. This will be achieved by developing strong, trustworthy relationships with the Account Managers to help them grow and achieve our business goals and objectives. This is an onsite position.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Partner with Account Managers to develop strong relationships with existing clients to assure the IT solutions and services being provided are meeting or exceeding their expectations
· Train Account Managers to present IT solutions and services to exiting clients that improve or compliment their existing solutions and services by providing technical information and strategy
· Schedule and attend meetings with IT client’s Account Managers to review the current portfolio of contracted solutions and services at a frequency provided by the IT Director
· Assist Account Managers to Identify IT solutions and services opportunities with new and existing clients based on the knowledge of the client’s goals and objective
· Partner with the IT Director to develop IT proposals for new solutions and services to offer existing clients from action plans developed from Account Manager or technical advocate visits
· Attend IT proposal presentations as needed with the Account Managers to provide training opportunities and expertise on the IT solutions and services presented
· Present and explain new IT solutions and services to existing clients with technical information provided by the IT Director and/or other members of the IT Solutions Team
· Assist the IT Director with coordinating critical next steps and documentation for onboarding new clients an assist the Account Mangers with setting the correct expectations and client understanding of the project flow and timelines
· Assist the IT Director with building new proposal documents as IT solutions and services are added, deleted, or changed in the existing product stack.
· Assist the IT Director with IT vendor relationship building and building a knowledge base of vendor programs, solutions and services
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an account management, technical advisory, or sales and preferably with an MSP or IT solutions company in the SMB market
· Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical Systems or Network Administration role, preferred with an MSP or IT solutions company in the SMB market
· Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships across an organizational
· Bachelor’ degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field strongly preferred
· Familiarity with service delivery ticketing platforms, support services, productivity software such as Microsoft 365, security software, desktop hardware and partner programs highly valued
· Ability to manage, address and de-escalate client concerns using problem solving skills
· Ability to access and self-navigate IT Systems/Solutions such as Automate RMM, IT Glue, Auvik, AutoTask PSA. LionGard, ScalePad, M365 Admin Center, On-Prem Active Directory, Datto, or other comparable systems/solutions to pull data
