Alton Industry Ltd, Group is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our organization.

We require:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 3 to 5 years of directly relevant work experience

· Proficiency in Excel (V Lookups and Pivot Tables), Oracle NetSuite & working knowledge of database software

· Ability to think critically

· Ability to multi-task & meet deadlines

· Good verbal communication skills

· Detail oriented

· Ability to understand intercompany transactions “Due to” / “Due from”

Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting activity.

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule

Duties include:

· Prepare month-end journal entries.

· Maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts & reconcile activity.

· Assist with financial reports preparation.

· Serve as system administrator for the expense management system.

· Recommend & implement travel policy changes.

· Review expense reports & ensure compliance with travel policy.

· Review invoices to ensure proper approval & expense coding.

· Reconcile credit card payable & troubleshoot discrepancies.

· Provide backup to other A/P activities.

· Work with the Controller to prepare annual budgets.

· Provide data to external auditors.

· Recommend & implement accounting procedures & internal controls improvements.
