Behavior Interventionist Job at Mountain West Autism Services
Mountain West Autism Services is a growing behavior agency based in Salt Lake county. We are seeking behavior interventionists to provide 1:1 behavioral intervention to children on the autism spectrum disorder. Behavior interventionists work in the family home and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). As a behavior interventionist, you will be working to help children develop functional communication skills, adaptive skills, and social skills.
Training Provided
Pay rate begins at $10-12/hour. Interventionists will be eligible for $15/hour pay rate when they complete and become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Opportunities for Supervision towards BCBA certification are also available.
Flexible Hours
In-home sessions are scheduled based on the family's and interventionist's availability. A perfect supplementary position for people currently employed as paraprofessionals, teachers, or college students.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
-Criminal background check clearance
-Minimum availability of at least one afternoon per week for at least 2 hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
