What We Need :
We are expanding and in response to continued electrification in the automotive industry MGA Research is looking for entry level battery lab test technician to help with this groundbreaking opportunity through properly conducting battery tests. This process includes but is not limited to:
- General test setup
- Instrumenting test devices per the customer’s request
- Taking pre and post-test measurements
- Documenting tests through procedures, checklists, photographs, and high-speed video
- Improvement of various processes throughout our facilities
Responsibilities :
Daily roles include collaborating in a team-oriented environment with Engineers, and:
- Support test setup/execution/tear down of various battery cell tests
- Monitoring and inspection of extended duration testing
- Operate various lab equipment such as power supplies, data loggers and temperature chambers
- Simple fabrication/modification of basic test fixtures
- Use test procedures, schematics or provided documentation to execute testing
- Communicate directly with engineers to ensure a high level of technical support
- Collect data, photos, and video of various tests
- Compile test results and support test report development
- Support technical root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing
