Job Summary
Handles scheduling for the Department Chair and other administrative matters relating to the total functions of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

Responsibilities
1. Assists the Department Chair with scheduling meetings and appointments (65%).
2. Assists with Conflict of Interest for Department Chair oversight by overseeing reviews and reports for departmental faculty.
3. Coordinates and supports the department’s accreditation processes and is responsible for ongoing maintenance and updating of documentation and data rooms for all department accreditations.
4. Collects, organizes, and analyzes data for specialized reports.
5. Generates and maintains electronically accessible department performance dashboards, and manages and corrects data and interfaces with external databases (e.g., Academic Analytics) for faculty information and in support of management processes by departmental leadership.
6. Coordinates details such as document control and overseeing the maintenance of departmental records.
7. Attends faculty meetings and prepares agendas and minutes. May support other departmental committees.
8. Handles the administrative matters regarding day-to-day operations and procedures of a University department.
9. Reviews changes in university policy, federal regulations and contractual requirements and coordinates implementation procedures.
10. May develop departmental procedures as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Three years experience that includes specific involvement in maintaining complex financial records, developing and monitoring departmental budgets and preparing related reports; and demonstrated organizational, human relation and effective communication skills.
