Assistant Baker/Pastry Chef Job at Waterbean Coffee

We are an upscale specialty coffee shop with locations in Cornelius, Huntersville, Hickory, Winston-Salem, Pineville, Concord, Gastonia and Charlotte.
Our company is currently looking for a part-time Assitant Pastry Chef or Baker. If you have a creative mind we need you!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors.
- Prepare and bake all pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for all Waterbean Coffee locations.
-Responsible for inventory counts.
-Place orders for additional ingredients and supplies weekly with management permission.
-Ensure that all pastries are fresh, and enforce date rotation.
-Bake according to demand by measuring product sales weekly.
-Make sure all items utensils and kitchenware are properly cleaned and the kitchen is always left tidy and dishes put away.
-Educate baristas on all bakery items, including names, descriptions, pricing.
-Promptly plan for baking needs in the event of sickness, vacation, or other absences.
-Ensure that all items are presentable with proper labels.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
