Who we are seeking:
STV currently has an opening in our Owings Mills, MD office for an Architectural Designer / Architectural Intern to join our Buildings and Facilities team. You will design for various building type projects.
The responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Architectural plans
- Detailed Architectural design, plans and specifications work
- Perform analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts and construction details.
- Conducting site and construction inspections
- Ensuring conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
- Coordinating with other disciplines
Requirements:
- Professional Degree in Architecture
- 0 – 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient with BIM Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite are required
- Strong design and rendering skills are a plus
- Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential
