Amusement Route Collector/Service Tech Job at The New Vemco Music Co.
THE POSITION:
This position may be a good fit for someone with car audio experience or similar skill set. Our Route Collectors/Service Technicians are in a customer-facing role and are the heartbeat of our business. The main responsibilities for this role are making collections on a service route and maintaining and repairing the equipment at that location and in the warehouse. More detailed duties include:
- run routes to perform collections on equipment
- Maintain equipment on route such as cleaning and re-stocking
- use company-owned vehicle to respond to service calls and make the necessary repairs on site (examples include: retrieve stuck prizes, release coin jams, replace burnt-out bulbs, provide chalk/sticks/balls for pool tables, etc)
- other duties when assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- mechanically inclined; comfortable with technology (hand and power tools, multi-meters, ohmmeters, etc)
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Have a good driving record; pass pre-employment and random drug tests; pass background check
- on-call availability one week each month for after-hours service calls
- Comfortable talking to a diverse clientele base
- Strong math skills preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
