Accounts Payable Specialist (Hybrid) Job at E4H - Environments for Health, LLC

E4H Architecture is a 100% healthcare and health sciences firm dedicated to creating flexible, creative environments that enhance health and well-being. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support our growing company. This role will support multiple locations and collaborate with the national Accounting/Finance team on programs and special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with project accountants on the input of subconsultant invoices to Deltek VantagePoint.- Review subconsultant statement to make sure payments are on time and records are aligned with subconsultant.
- Investigate subconsultant invoice variances and communicate with project accountant, project manager, and subconsultant.
- Maintain accounting records accurately.
- On-board and maintain the vendor profile in VantagePoint. Collect 1099 and certificate of insurance from the vendor annually.
- Reconciliation of payments through verification, rechecking, auditing, and other tools to maintain accurate financial records
- Respond to requests for more detail from internal and external clients including subconsultants.
- Compile information for internal and external auditors as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Payables Clerk in a mid-sized company preferably for an architecture or design firm.
- Associates degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or commensurate experience.
- Professional, warm demeanor and desire to provide excellent service to project teams and other customers. Experience working with co-workers in different locations is desired.
- Must be pro-active and possess the ability to anticipate needs and problem solve.
- Hands on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision is preferred, as well as basic Excel skills.
